DAY 1 - Picton - Ships Cove to Furneaux Lodge
Approx walking time- 5 hours
Pick up from local accommodation.
Eco tour cruise - A full commentary is given as we make our way along the Queen
Charlotte Sound, visit a protected, predator free island.
Begin the walk at Ships Cove and learn about  the historical and natural  aspects of
this area.
Fabulous 360 degree vistas as we walk amongst tree ferns and nikau palms to our
accommodation for this evening at  Furneaux Lodge, located beside the water  in
Endeavour Inlet.
Take time to explore the expansive grounds and later that evening enjoy a glass of
Marlborough wine with your evening meal.
Lunch, afternoon tea, three course dinner in the restaurant, a glass of wine and
superior studio accommodation included.

Day 2 - Furneaux Lodge to Punga Cove
Approx walking time- 4 hours
After a relaxed breakfast we make our way around the bay to Punga Cove.
Discover the fascinating mining history of this area.
The highlight of this afternoons walk is the abundance of native bird life along this
section of the track. We make even have the opportunity to meet one of  New
Zealands cheekiest native birds, the Weka.
Optional sea kayaking trip, late afternoon.
Tonights accommodation is in comfortable chalets at Punga Cove.
Breakfast, lunch afternoon tea, a glass of wine with your evening meal included.
Day 3 - Punga Cove to Portage Resort
Approx walking time 7.5 hours
Todays section of the track involves expansive ridge top walking with stunning            
views for the majority of the day. Considered the most challenging day of the trip yet
extremely well rewarding.
For those that feel like a rest the option of taking a water taxi to Portage Resort is
available where you can indulge in a relaxing spa pool while enjoying the beautiful
views.
Accommodation this evening in newly refurbished suites overlooking Kenepuru
Sound.
Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, a glass of wine with your three course evening meal
included.
4 Day Guided Walk
Day 4 - Portage Resort to Anakiwa
Approx walking time 6 hours
 After another gourmet breakfast in the well appointed restaurant we set out for  our  
final destination, Anakiwa.
 A mixture of established native beech trees and regenerating forest makes up
todays walk. Lunch today is served from a look out point with breathtaking views
before making our way to the end of the track.
Once we arrive in Anakiwa, our water taxi will be waiting to take us back to Picton
where we return around 5.30pm.
Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and transport back to your Picton accommodation
included.
