If you enjoy the freedom of walking, taking in the sights at your own pace but would like the hassle free element of having all
aspects of the walk prearranged then the independent walk package would be ideal for you.
An information pack will be provided filled with facts and info including a detailed map of the Queen Charlotte Track as well as a
suggested itinerary , making your walk as easy and accessible as possible. Our staff will collect you from your accommodation in
Picton, give you your packed lunch for the day and drop you off at the water taxi and will be there when you return to take you back
to your accommodation at the end of your walk.

The Queen Charlotte track which takes in 71 km's of beautiful, unique New Zealand coastline is walked over 4 days. Our package
includes daily overnight luggage transfers, the boat trip to the start of the track at Ships Cove as well as return water taxi from the
end of the track back to Picton as well as all meals.

Your overnight luggage is transferred daily by water taxi and if you decide you would like a break from walking on one of the days
then the option of going by water taxi is available at an additional cost.

Accommodation on the track is of a very high standard and all have en suite rooms with sea views and private balconies. Evening
meals - three course's, continental breakfasts and wholesome packed lunches are included in your package. Drinks such as
wine, beer and soft drinks can be purchased from the lodges.

The 5 Day Package includes a second night at Portage Resort and is perfect for those looking to extend their walking holiday and
enjoy an extra day in the Marlborough Sounds. At Portage there are many activities to choose from to keep you occupied such as
sea kayaking, boating, mountain biking (at additional cost) swimming or maybe just putting your feet up for the day and relaxing in
this peaceful area.

Accommodation for the unguided walks is Furneaux Lodge, Mahana Lodge and Portage Resort.
